Spillers Records is said to be the world's oldest record shop, as established in Cardiff back in 1894 by Henry Spiller.
At its original location in Queens Arcade, the store specialised in the sale of phonographs, wax phonograph cylinders and shellac phonograph discs. In the early 1920s, Spiller's son Edward took over the running of the business and sold musical instruments alongside pre-recorded music. In the late 1940s, Henry moved the shop around the corner to a larger premises on The Hayes.
In 2010, Spillers Records moved to Morgan Arcade.
On two floors, you won't be disappointed when strolling around the small shop to find a musical souvenir from your trip to Cardiff.
