Clifton Suspension Bridge is a suspension bridge across River Avon, linking Clifton in Bristol to Leigh Woods in North Somerset. Since its opening back in 1864, it has been a toll bridge. The idea of building a bridge originated in the year 1753. The bridge was completed in 1864.
