At the corner of Station Street and Hill Street, was once one of the most important live music venues in Birmingham’s music history: at The Crown Pub very first Black Sabbath gig has been taken place. At a time, they still called themselves Earth. Imagine this very moment when Ozzy first time faced a crowd. That was the moment music history was written. The Crown was also stepping stone for early Led Zeppelin as it played even host to Robert Plant's pre-Zep bands.
