Step in the footsteps of royalty and visit Aston Hall, one great Jacobean house from the 17th century, erected by Sir Thomas Holte. The magnificent red-brick mansion is surrounded by a scenic public park. After wandering through the great halls you may have a snack in the café or stroll through the garden with its lovely fountains and perfectly shaped lawns. Visible from the house less than 200 yards to the North is Aston Villa Football club stadium.
