For the night, there are various private houses to choose from - ranging from tiny wooden cabins with verandas up to more luxurious stone lodges with several spacious rooms, a fireplace, and whirlpool or similar. All set in proper distance to each other for maximum privacy. But each one with sensational views into the vast canyon landscape around.

Absolute recommendation for dining is the attached Cordwood restaurant. Whether for dinner or a hearty breakfast - careful management of the land and healthy sustainable and local food production is at the heart of their operation. The kitchen carefully sources ingredient by ingredient. All in a really nice and authentic interior made up from wood. Jars and animal images on the walls, together with a uncomplicated and relaxed atmosphere. Try the Bison Skewers or the Bison Burger. The caramelised onions are just perfect. For breakfast, we strongly recommend either the Egg White Frittata to the Buttermilk Pancakes.
