Gold Hill is a steep cobbled street in the town of Shaftesbury. Not only known for its absolutely picturesque appearance, the view looking down from the top of the street may even be one of the most romantic sights in England. Especially at dusk or dawn this is a marvellous as well as mystical place.
Gold Hill has also been used several times as a setting for film and television.
