It’s probably one of the world's highest museum - at least it’s the highest Rock museum in the world. 190 meters above ground, located at the top of the Olympic Tower. When entering the tower on ground level, there are already some exhibition items displayed. To get to the Rock Museum, you have to purchase the lift tour to the top of the tower. Well worth as the view from up there is mind blowing. Not only for an amazing view upon the city of Munich, but also for the panoramic outlook with the Alps being pretty close.
The museum itself shows a collection of items documenting Rock history of more than 70 years. From original guitars to backstage passes, concert posters and unique tickets, all kind of items are in display. If you’re lucky there might be a special event ongoing such as an autograph sessions or star talks and interviews.
