Situated on the edge of Hyde Park, next to the main Leeds university campus is The Library, a favourite destination for students. Whether you are looking for a chilled out pub, sport entertainment, or just a proper lunch - they have it all covered between the pub and the upstairs venue. It used to be a library once, also a police station and a fire station before becoming a pub.
Definitely a nice place to have a break from sightseeing and grab something to eat. There is a variety of ales on tap and amazing food all day from breakfast to dinner. Also various vegetarian and vegan options on the menu.
But it's not until live events that the place comes alive. No genre is off limits, with everything on the calendar from Indie, Rock, Funk, Electro Pop, to Folk, Jazz, and even Hip Hop.
