It is still one of Liverpool's best hidden secrets - and what a marvellous one. There's no sign outside, only a black closed door. You need to knock until they let you into this dimly lit haven. The atmosphere is made up with wooden interior, candlelights, and lots of love for the details. The staff is unbelievably nice. Really a place to recommend.
The bar is set up out of wooden crates and the barkeeper creates mouth-watering drinks and cocktails. The menu is packed into an old book and you can choose from an arrangement of all sorts of gin and whiskey drinks, while also being offered small snacks as olives along with. The waiters will be glad to recommend you some specialties. Try for example Med 57 boasting flavours of Gin, olive, agave, lemon along with pepper.
The music is all about Blues and Jazz. Some evenings, there's also live piano which makes up an even more magic and relaxing atmosphere.
