Brian Epstein was born on 19 September 1934 in this place. You can still see a blue plaque outside the house today. He was manager to the one and only Beatles, and also to Gerry and the Pacemakers, Billy J. Kramer and The Dakotas, The Cyrkle from the USA and many more. Brian was the one who first discovered the Beatles in November 1961 in the Cavern Club. An barbiturate and alcohol overdose caused his early death at the age of 32.
