This is the location of a former record studio from 1955 to 1969. A blue plaque outside this building commemorates the recording place of The Quarrymen's first disc. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison were here on 17 July 1959 to record That'll Be The Day by Buddy Holly and In Spite Of All The Danger by Paul McCartney & George Harrison. In 1960 they became The Beatles.
