This is a pretty obscure story about a pyramid shaped tomb. The 4.57 metre tombstone of civil engineer William MacKenzie is source for various tales and myths local tour guides still tell Liverpool visitors.
It is said that MacKenzie was a keen gambler and left instructions that he should be entombed above ground within a pyramid, while sitting upright at a card table and clutching a winning hand of cards. Reportedly, his ghost is still roaming the overgrown churchyard and surrounding area.
