The 19th century warehouse has already been converted into a live music venue in the early 2000s housing gigs of Muse, Coldplay, Paul Weller, and Idlewild. Since 2003, it is home to O2 Academy Liverpool and has seen legendary musicians and acts such as Franz Ferdinand, Blondie, Killing Joke, Elbow, The Killers, Biffy Clyro, The Prodigy, Paul McCartney, Foals, Courteeners, The Wombats, Arctic Monkeys, and Amy Winehouse.
