The building itself has not always been a pub - it used to be an orphanage, a Russian embassy, or even a guest house in which in 1969, Freddie Mercury, lead singer of fabulous Queen, lived.
The Dovedale Towers are known for their historical connections to the Beatles. They played and rehearsed in here several times in their very first days.
Today, the Penny Lane located pub convinces with its friendly welcome, a great range of beers, mouth watering roasts, and music nights.
