Gerry and the Pacemakers were an English beat group in the 60s Merseybeat scene. In common with the Beatles, they came from Liverpool and were managed by Brian Epstein. They are most remembered for their Number One cover You'll Never Walk Alone. Ever since 1963, the song is anthem of Liverpool FC, sung by its supporters moments before the start of each home game.
