Just west of London in the county of Oxfordshire is a place that has gained worldwide recognition, for being featured on the cover of Heavy Metal band Black Sabbath's self-titled debut album in 1970: Mapledurham Watermill.
Mapledurham Watermill is a historic watermill on the banks of River Thames. It was built in the 15th century, and further extended in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The Black Sabbath album cover features a creepy black-clad figure in front of the mill. Not much is known about the woman other then she was a model hired for the day and her name is said to be Louise.
