8 Stratford Avenue: this is the ultimate Britpop home. This Victorian house's living room in Didsbury was cover for Oasis' iconic Definitely Maybe album which was released in 1994 and marked the beginning of a new musical era. At that time it was owned by the band's guitarist, Paul Bonehead Arthurs.
The image boasts with details: the sprawling rock stars with glasses of wine, a pink flamingo, the Burt Bacharach poster, and The Good, The Bad And The Ugly on TV.
Oasis also filmed the music video for their single Shakermaker in 1993 in the rear garden of the house.
Please pay respect to the current residents.
