The libraries of Oxford University are among the most renowned ones in the world, for their incomparable collections of books and manuscripts, as well as for their impressive buildings. The principal one is the Bodleian Library, one of the oldest libraries in Europe. First opened back in 1602.
The Radcliffe Camera was designed in neo-classical style and built in 1737 to 1749.
